Overview

This year, Kaldor Public Art Projects is celebrating half a century of Making Art Public!

Created by British artist Michael Landy, the exhibition Making Art Public brings an artist’s perspective to bear on our 50-year history and the 34 groundbreaking art projects that have been presented to date.

50 Years, 34 Projects

In collaboration with the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Making Art Public will bring 34 ephemeral projects together for the first time in history, to celebrate 50 Years of Kaldor Public Art Projects.

Living Archives

The Kaldor Public Art Projects archive is a rich repository of photographs, letters, artist sketches and objects that tell the story of our 50 year history.

The Living Archives project animates this archive with the memories of those who experienced our projects firsthand. These memories provide a rare glimpse into our history through the eyes of visitors, artists, teachers, art lovers and students. Submit your story to become a part of our Living Archives.
